My Story
Hi! My name is Jenn. And this is my Scentsy story. I am a very busy nurse, working 2 jobs, the mother of three teenagers, wife, and a student to boot. I don’t have much of social life. It seems that I am always working. When I was asked to go to a friend’s Scentsy party, I didn’t have a clue what it was. For years I would burn scented candles, but didn’t feel safe, so I was incredibly curious about wickless candles! I asked for a catalogue, and placed my first order, without having the experience of sniffing any scents. I have to be honest; I didn’t take my warmer out of the box for months. I was invited to another party, and I actually experienced Scentsy for the first time. I was challenged to go home, and actually take my warmer out of its box, and post a picture on Facebook, and use it. I was hooked! I think I have had at least one warmer going everyday since. I then chose to do a basket party, so I could earn some free stuff, seemed easy enough. It was a huge success, and now I have many of my co-workers hooked. So the next logical step was to become a consultant. I look the leap last June. I love the products so much; it was easy to promote them. My favorite part is making samples and putting together my little extras to go along with every order. It is almost therapeutic, because it so different from my other jobs. I am slowly building my business, and am happy with the progress I have made so far. Just goes to show how loving your job makes all the difference. I had the opportunity to attend World Tour in Toronto with my director Julie, were I heard Heidi and Orville, owners and founders of Scentsy, speak. I am super excited about going to Nashville for Reunion in July. Even though my Scentsy journey isn’t very long (yet!), I have already met some wonderful people who are encouraging and tremendously helpful with all aspects of my business.
